Patrick Beverley, Stephen Curry scuffle early in the first quarter

A little over five minutes into the first game of the first-round series between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets, Stephen Curry and Patrick Beverley got tied up (much to the chagrin of the sea of gold in Oracle arena), and a fight between the two nearly erupted.

Both players were given technicals, and Draymond Green — who plays the role of the enforcer for the NBA reigning champions — responded with a moving pick on Beverley on the next play. Beverley has a history of being an irritating player to go up against, and we have a feeling this won't be the last time this series that tempers flare. The Warriors were out to an 11-4 start at the time, and finished the first quarter with a 33-15 lead.
