Kelly Clarkson may need a moment to catch her breath as she is now officially a married woman.
The 31-year-old singer got hitched to Brandon Blackstock Sunday in Tennessee at the Blackberry Farms in Walland, reports E! News.
Clarkson and her hubby exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony attended by friends and family, including his two children from a previous marriage.
"I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock," she tweeted Monday. "We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!"
The 4,200-acre luxury hotel and resort where their nuptials took place is located on the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
It was uncertain whether the couple would have a traditional wedding after Clarkson stated to People magazine in August that they would elope.
"We just got overwhelmed by it - - all the decisions," she said. "We sent out a save-the-date to everyone, and then it got crazy and all the details were leaked.
"Our lives are so in the spotlight all the time," she added. "Everything is such a spectacle, we were like, 'We would rather have an intimate moment that's special.'"
And that's exactly how the couple, who were engaged in December after a year of dating, celebrated their union after originally thinking much bigger.
"We had a wedding planned, like a huge one," she previously told E! "And we still have a wedding planned, but we're not doing the big huge one."
After obtaining their marriage license, which is only good for 30 days, on Oct. 15 it was a sure sign that they were headed down the aisle.
Clarkson, who posted photos from their special day, looked stunning in a Temperley London gown with long lace sleeves and a plunging neckline and a gorgeous headpiece.
"Thnx Temperley 4 my beautiful dress!" she wrote. "And thank you to my friend @JimVerraros & Maria Elena 4 the beautiful headpiece!"
