‘Cause baby now they’ve got bad blood. Taylor Swift is not happy about Miley Cyrus dissing ‘Bad Blood’ for its ‘violence,’ but thinks that her hate boils down to one thing — she’s just ‘jealous,’ Hollywood Life learned EXCLUSIVELY.
If you had hope that Miley Cyrus, 22, would join Taylor Swift’s, 25, squad, we’re sorry to kill those dreams. After the 2015 VMA host blasted Taylor’s star-studded “Bad Blood” music video for its “violence revenge” theme, the “Shake It Off” singer is not letting Miley rain on her parade, when she believes Miley is just fuming with envy.
“Saying things like this is so typical of Miley. She is desperate for attention and will do anything to get it. It must kill Miley that Taylor has gotten so much attention for ‘Bad Blood’. In Taylor’s mind, Miley is just being jealous,” a source close to Taylor tells Hollywood Life EXCLUSIVELY. “She wants the spotlight on her and taking shots at Taylor is a good way to do it,” our source adds. Ouch!
In case you need a refresher, Miley told Marie Claire about her lack of understanding for why nudity is shamed on more than violence in music videos. “I don’t get the violence revenge thing,” Miley said of Taylor’s “Bad Blood” music video. “That’s supposed to be a good example? And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my titties out? I’m not sure how titties are worse than guns.”
Ever since the release of “Bad Blood” in May, it has had over 425 million views on YouTube. With the immense success of 1989, that’s not even surprising. Miley has a successful career herself, and she’s set to host the 2015 VMAs. Hopefully, she won’t have an in-person spat with Tay Tay! These two ladies should be celebrating each other’s talent, not feuding.
